Add Ekjot Sanjog website to your Mobile Device Home Screen

iPad or iPhone

  1. Launch "Safari" app.
  2. Enter into the address field www.ekjotsanjog.com and Tap "Go"
  3. Tap the icon featuring a upward-pointing arrow coming out of a box at the bottom of the page on the iPhone, on the iPad this is at the top of the page.
  4. On the bottom row of icons, scroll over until you see "Add to Home Screen".
  5. Tap on "Add to Home Screen". You'll see the icon appear on your home-screen with the name Ekjot Sanjog and then tap on "Add".
  6. Safari will close automatically and you will be taken to where the icon is located on your iPad or iPhone. Hold down and drag the icon to the position of your choice.

Android

  1. Launch Google "Chrome" app.
  2. Open www.ekjotsanjog.com website to pin to your home screen.
  3. Tap the menu icon (3 vertical dots in upper right-hand corner) and tap "Add" to home screen.
  4. "Add to Home Screen" dialog will appear, tap "Add".
  5. You'll see the icon appear on your home-screen. Hold down and drag to the position of your choice.

Account Management

Do people see my contact information?

Your contact information is kept private until you voluntarily share it with members. Paid members can view your phone numbers if you have optionally chosen to add that information to your profile for other Paid members to view.

We do not share your street name, postal code, and email address on your profile.

Can I add my telephone numbers to my profile?

Yes, it is possible to optionally add your phone numbers to the Profile. This information can be viewed by paid members only.

How do I change my password?

To change your password:

Sign in; Click the "My Account" menu at the top of the page. Select Change password. Enter your Current password. Enter your New password. Enter Confirm New password. Click Update Password button.

Note: Passwords are case-sensitive and must contain at least 6 characters.

If you're unable to sign in after changing your password, clear your browser's cookies and saved passwords or try to sign in with a different browser.

How do I hide my profile?

If you have found a match and would like to keep your account active but would like remove your profile from searches then you can visit our 'My Account' page which has an option to hide (deactivate) your profile. Once your profile is hidden you will be able to reactivate it in the future by visiting the 'My Account' page again.

To deactivate your account and hide your profile:

Sign in; Click the "My account" menu at the top of the page Select Activate/Deactivate Account. Click , Deactivate Account button.

Only Paid Members can deactivate their account. Deactivating your account puts your account on hold. Other users will no longer see your profile in searches.

How do I re-activate my account?

To re-activate your account:

Sign in; Click the "My account" menu at the top of the page. Select Activate/Deactivate Account. Click, Activate Account button.

Your profile will be restored immediately and will be available for searches for users to view.

How do I permanently delete my account?

To delete your account, please contact us through the Contact Us facility on the website.

Paid members should cancel the automatic renewal of their subscription prior to deletion. Your account and messages will be completely deleted. After the account is deleted, we will not be able to reinstate your account.

Contacting Members

How do I send a message to members?

As a paid member you can communicate with any member.

Just like a text message, you can write a freestyle message to a member you wish to communicate with. Messages can be any length, and can be sent as often as you wish. Messages do not need to be responded to before another can be sent.

To begin communicating with a member:

1. Search and locate the member you wish to communicate with.

2. Click on the "Send Message" button. A send message pop-up dialog box will appear.

3. From here, you can "Write a Message". When finished, submit the message.

Can a message be unsent once it has been sent?

No, sent messages cannot be unsent or removed from the recipient members inbox.

Can I add an attachment to my message?

We do not allow attachments to the internal messaging system.

How do I know who sent me a message?

When a message is received in your Inbox, click on the members name, their profile will pop up and you can read the members profile. Please remember only paid members can send a message.

Why have my messages not been read by other members?

Firstly, you can check to see that your messages have been successfully delivered. To do so, go to the "messages" and view the messages you have sent in your conversations.

If your messages have been successfully delivered, there may be several reasons you have not received a reply.

  • The member have signed up then not visited the site again, even if they've been alerted that they have a new message.
  • The member does not have a subscription, which is necessary to respond to their messages.
  • The member has read your message but does not wish to reply as they feel uncomfortable saying 'no thanks'.
  • Others may be involved in a particular correspondence with another member.

To maximise your chances of getting a reply, don't forget to:

  • Complete your profile by adding clear, varied photos.
  • Personalise your messages to each member.

Can I contact someone in another country?

Yes, you can contact someone from another country which we have in our list. We have designed the service to connect people online.

Profile & Photos

How can I change something in my profile?

To add, change, or remove information on your profile:

Sign in; Click the "My account" menu at the top of the page. Select folder you would like to edit eg. Your Characteristics. Scroll down to the areas on the page and make changes. Click "Save" button when you have finished making changes.

The following pieces of information cannot be changed online on your profile:

  • Forenames and Last name.
  • Date of Birth.
  • Gender

Please contact us through Contact Us facility on the website and make sure to add the exact detail you would like to update.

We reserve the right to ask for a proof of identification in case the difference between what you initially stated is significant.

Why has my profile been deleted or edited?

Our moderation team aims to ensure that all the profiles keep within the spirit of the website. A profile that contravenes the site's Terms and Conditions may therefore not be published online.

For your profile to be accepted, it must not contain:

  • incomprehensible language (abbreviations, text speech, etc.).
  • offensive or inappropriate language (violent or abusive, swear words etc.).
  • marketing message.

When a profile contains language that contradicts these rules and therefore cannot be validated as it is, moderators may decide to delete part of the text.

If this happens, you will still have the opportunity to edit your profile. Just make sure that it adheres to the points listed above.

How can I change my email address?

If you want to change the email address linked to your account, contact us with the new email address you want to use. We will then update your profile and send you an email confirmation.

Why have a photograph?

Looks aren't everything but a photo can make all the difference between getting your profile noticed or not. Majority of members wouldn't contact somebody who didn't have a good photo.

How can I add or delete photos

Sign in; Click the "Home" menu at the top of any page.

Add a Photo

Click 'Upload a photo' - Follow the steps to upload photos from your computer or mobile device.

Click 'Save photo' button.

Click 'Home' at the top of the page to exit 'Your photo' folder.

Delete a Photo

Click 'Upload/Change photos'

From 'Your photos', click 'delete' at the bottom right hand corner of the photo you wish to remove.

Why wasn't my photo accepted?

Photo may not have been accepted for the following reasons:

Nudity or offensive stuff. Includes personal messages eg. holding up your phone number on a bit of paper. Photo is someone's copyrighted picture. Photos featuring children. Photos file size bigger than 4MB.

We will not add a Photo that does not meet the above guidelines or for example a photo which doesn't show you, or which shows you with other people or at a distance.

Photo Tips:

Your profile photo is usually the first thing people will see on your profile, so it's important to get this right.

Majority of members are unlikely to contact somebody without a profile picture. Most wouldn't contact somebody who didn't have a good photo.

Photos to use:

  • Ones where you look relaxed and approachable
  • Ones where you are smiling and looking happy
  • Photos which show the real you

Photos to avoid:

  • Photos which show people with children
  • Photos with other people in them
  • Passport photos
  • Mirror selfies

I updated my content and photos on my profile. Why is my profile not showing in search?

All content and photos added on profiles undergo a review by our moderation team. This process may take up to 24 hours.

Registration

I haven't received my account activation email

When you become a member we send you an account activation email to the email address you provided us with. You must click the link in the email to activate your account. This is so we can confirm that the email address you have given us is correct. If you do not receive the account activation email, please check your junk or spam folder as some internet service providers may confusingly associate our emails as unwanted. If it is in your junk or spam mail folder, please add EkjotSanjog.com email domain to your Safe Senders list.

If you do not click the link in the account activation email then we may not be able to send you email alerts and notifications from our website such as when you receive a new message. It is therefore very important that you click the link to activate your account.

Why can't I create an account?

You will not be able to create a new account, if your email address is already in our database. If you wish to create a new account and link your email address to it, you will need to start by closing your old account.

If you are not sure whether you already had an account, try to recover your sign in information using the "Forgot your password" link on the Sign In page. You will then receive a password reset link so that you can access your account again.

I made a mistake in my profile on Registration, how can I change it?

Once you have registered on the website, you can make change's to your profile except for the following:

  • Forenames
  • Last Name
  • Gender
  • Date of Birth
  • Email address

If you would like to change any of the above, please contact us and we will correct the mistake for you.

To add, change, or remove information on your profile first sign in to your account:

How long before my profile be visible in searches?

Why am I getting a message to say that my Sign in information is incorrect?

Can I access my profile from abroad?

Yes, of course you can! Once you have created your profile, you can access it wherever you are, even if you're out of the country.

If you're having problems signing in, check your sign in information.

I've just created my account. Why can't I access my profile?

During the registration process, you received a confirmation email asking you to activate your email address. Firstly, check that you have received this email.

If you didn't, either the registration process was not completed or the wrong email address was entered. If so, you will need to start again.

If you did receive activation email, check that there are no spelling mistakes in your sign in information, and that you have used the correct letter cases (lower/upper), punctuation and numbers. To do this, we recommend that you recover your sign in information using the link on the Sign in page.

Why is my new password not being accepted?

To ensure that your account is secure, you need to follow two rules when you create a new password:

your password must not match or include your screen name or email address; it must be minimum 6 characters long.

For maximum peace of mind, we recommend that you make your password at least 8 characters long, with at least one letter, one digit and one special character.

Finally, never share your sign in information with anyone, including family and friends.

Subscription

What is Paid Membership?

Paid membership is subscribing to a full subscription. Standard free members must wait for a response to their profile but paid members can use our safe and secure private messaging system to initiate contact with all other members. Don't sit back and wait for someone to contact you; become a paid member and get talking right away! Paid members have the greatest chance of success.

You can upgrade to a full subscription at any time. Read more about membership types here.

How soon after paying can I use the paid services?

Your subscription will be activated as soon as you see confirmation that your payment was successful on your screen.

If you're unable to get access, please first sign out and back sign in to your account.

Can I transfer my subscription to another profile?

If you wish to stop using the website, we wouldn't be able to transfer your subscription to a friend. Please note that if you delete your account, you will lose access to the paid services.

If you instead want to deactivate your profile, you can reactivate it and continue using your subscription until the original expiry date.

Where can I find my subscription information?

All your subscription information can be found in the "My account" section.

Sign in; Click the "My account" menu at the top of the page. Select "Payment History".

The "Payment History" area includes:

  • the package information,
  • subscription's expiry date,
  • payments you have made until now.

Your subscription is renewed automatically to ensure you do not miss out on any potential matches. You can cancel the renewal at any time before 48 hours of the next subscription renewal date.

How can I cancel the automatic renewal of my subscription?

You can cancel your subscription renewal from the section "My account". You can cancel the renewal at any time before 48 hours of the next subscription renewal date.

Sign in; Click the "My account" menu at the top of the page. Select "Cancel subscription".

Make sure that you follow all steps of the cancellation process.

Once you have cancelled your renewal, you will receive a confirmation email. You can still continue to enjoy your subscription until it expires, at which point you'll no longer be able to access the paid features of the website.

How can I renew my subscription?

By default, all of our subscriptions are set to automatically renew at the end of each period.

How do I receive a refund?

To exercise the right to cancel, you must inform by writing to us at Iconxons Limited, 5 Jardine House, Harrovian Business Village, Bessborough Road, Harrow, Middlesex, HA1 3EX, United Kingdom or contacting us through the Contact Us facility on the Site of your decision to cancel this contract by a clear statement. Please include the e-mail address associated with your account in this notice.

Please consider the following before making your request:

  • Only citizens of European Union have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days after the initial purchase of the subscription.
  • Have you benefited from a free trial period which happened before your first subscription payment.
  • A renewed subscription is not eligible for a refund.
